On the other hand, there is a campaign going on that Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will contest from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh in the next election. Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut made interesting comments on this news. Sanjay Raut said that people of Varanasi want Priyanka Gandhi. He said that if Priyanka contests against Prime Minister Modi in Varanasi, she will definitely win. He said that BJP will have a tough competition in Rae Bareilly, Varanasi and Amethi constituencies.
MP Sanjay Raut said that the political situation in India is changing rapidly, and the Congress is getting support from the people. If Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi fights from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, PM Modi will find it difficult to win the election, and Priyanka Gandhi may edge over Modi.
Sanjay Raut also criticised Narendra Modi for blaming Uddhav Thackeray for breaking the alliance ahead of the 2014 assembly elections.
Sanjay also said that two Deputy CMs (Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar) are not happy with the current Maharashtra government. He said that anything can happen in politics.
