Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi‘s son-in-law Robert Vadra on Saturday said his wife Priyanka Gandhi has all the qualifications to be in Parliament and she should be there. He expressed hope the Congress party would plan for Priyanka Gandhi’ Lok Sabha entry.
Priyanka’ husband Robert Vadra showered praises on Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. He appreciated that Priyanka is a person who should be in Parliament and she has all the qualifications. He said that Priyanka deserves to be a member of the Lok Sabha in every way. Robert Vadra made these comments in an interview given to a news agency. He said that the Congress party is fully aware of Priyanka’s qualifications and ability.
Robert Vadra expressed hope that the party will give Priyanka Gandhi Vadra a suitable position this time. Political circles are of the opinion that these comments were indirectly indicating to the leadership of the Congress party that Priyanka should be given an opportunity to contest as an MP. Meanwhile, Robert Vadra rejected the comments made by Union Minister Smriti Irani while displaying his photographs with Gautam Adani in the Parliament. Vadra asked what was wrong with that photo.
Robert Vadra challenged the Union Minister to show evidence of what he did wrong and if he did anything wrong.
