TDP senior leader Dhulipalla Narendra was arrested by the police on Tuesday. In the morning, the police stopped Dhulipalla Narendra who were going to the skill development center for inspection. He was forcibly detained as he was not allowed to go to the Skill Development Center. When they tried to move to the station from there, the TDP activists stood in the way of the police vehicles. This led to a scuffle between the police and TDP activists. The police sidelined all the activists. Along with Dhulipalla, some other activists were arrested and taken to Ponnur station.
After hearing about the arrest of Dhulipalla Narendra, TDP Workers reached Ponnur station in huge numbers. They are protesting in front of the station saying that Narendra’s arrest is illegal. Earlier, Dhulipalla addressed the TDP workers in Chintalapudi of Ponnur mandal and alleged that the government was acting in a factional way and it was part of this that Chandrababu was arrested. Lakhs of students have been trained through skill development scheme but this government is not able to see eye to eye, he said.
Dhulipalla criticized that the ministers put pressure on the officials and implicate Chandrababu in the case and they are trying to implicate Lokesh as well.
