This is called protein poisoning.

How much protein should be in the diet? 

According to experts, in every kilogram of our body, 1 gram of protein should be. Besides, the amount of carbohydrates and fat in the body should also be at the right level. There are chances of protein poisoning due to high protein intake. 

Weight Gain: Many people are suffering from weight gain these days. Due to this they are suffering from serious health problems. Experts say that these problems are likely to occur due to the consumption of food rich in proteins. 

Dehydration : There is a possibility of dehydration due to consuming more protein than required in the diet. The body needs more water to digest protein. It is excreted from the body in the form of urine. Besides, water also comes out in large quantities from the body. This causes water deficiency in the body. 

Depression : Eating more protein and less carbohydrates in the diet can lead to problems like tension, anxiety, depression and negative feelings. It increases stress hormones in the body and causes depression.
