The party’s top leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed confidence that the Congress will surely win in the upcoming five state assembly elections. They said that they will win in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana in the upcoming elections. It seems that there will be a POTA competition in Rajasthan. They said that they have learned lessons from the Karnataka assembly elections. He said that the central government is misrepresenting the arguments of the opposition. They said that what they wanted to say in Karnataka would definitely reach the people.
He said that all the opposition parties are working together and in 2024, the alliance of the opposition parties will take the BJP by surprise. Rahul Gandhi spoke at a conclave organized by Pratidin Media Network in Assam. He alleged that One Nation, One Election is meant to divert people’s attention from real issues. He said that BJP often does such things to cover up their mistakes. He said that there are many problems in India like inequality in wealth, unemployment and rising prices. He said that the name change from India to Bharat is to divert attention from all these problems.
Rahul also spoke about Telangana elections. He said that if we look at the elections to be held in Telangana, they are gradually getting stronger and BJP does not exist there. He said that the influence of the Lotus Party has fallen here. Congress will win in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He said that there is not much opposition to the government in Rajasthan.
