Earlier, actor turned politician Kamal Haasan had offered his Alwarpet house for treating the Corona patients by making it isolation ward to treat the patients infected with Coronavirus. Now Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth has come forward with a generous offer. After Kamal Haasan, now it’s Rajinikanth’ turn to repeat the touching gesture.
According per the latest update, Rajinikanth has written to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, offering his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai’ Kodambakkam area to be used as a Coronavirus treatment isolation ward. Earlier, Darbar Star has given the wedding hall to shelter hundreds of homeless people for more than 20 days during the Chennai floods in 2015.
DMDK president Vijayakant had also said his party office in Koyambedu and Sri Andal Alagar College of Engineering premises can also be used for making isolation ward.
On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in upcoming action drama Annaatthe, which is written and helmed by Siva and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film also has Meena, Kushboo, Prakash Raj, Soori, Sathish, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, and Vela Ramamoorthy in the supporting roles in this actioner, which has the music by D Imman. The makers have already released the motion poster that received superb response by the movie lovers.
