Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni starrer village based drama Rangasthalam which was released on 30th March is doing fantastic collections at the box office. Finally Rangasthalam has crushed the collection record of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham in just six days.
According to the traders report, Sukumar’s directorial venture Rangasthalam collected approximately Rs 121 Cr gross at the worldwide box office in six days and smashed the record of Allu Arjun’s DJ, which earned in Rs 115 Cr at the global box office in its life time. The movie has landed in the 10th rank in the all-time highest grossing Telugu movies.
Rangasthalam is expected to surpass Rs 150 Cr mark at the worldwide box office in the next four days. The movie is set to beat the lifetime records of Magadheera, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, Attarintiki Daaredi, Jai Lava Kusa and Sarrainodu. If Ram Charan’s film smashes these records, Rangasthalam will become the fourth highest grossing Telugu movies of all time.
Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and others in important role. The film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
