Minister Srinivas Goud got relief in Telangana High Court. Srinivas Goud’s election petition was dismissed by the High Court. The High Court has given judgment to this extent while dismissing the petition. The High Court dismissed a petition filed by a resident of Mahboob Nagar challenging the election of Srinivas Goud. Raghavendra Raju of Mahboob Nagar filed a petition in 2019 claiming that Srinivas Goud’s election was invalid.
It was brought to the attention of the court that the details of assets and debts were not declared in the election affidavit.
Raghavendra Raju filed a petition in the High Court claiming that Srinivas Goud had given false details in the election affidavit. The petition stated that Srinivas Goud is not eligible to continue as MLA and Minister.
However, Minister Srinivas Goud also filed a petition in the High Court to dismiss the petition filed against him. The tribunal which conducted the inquiry to this extent dismissed the petition filed by Srinivas Goud declaring the election invalid. With this, Srinivas Goud got relief.
