TPCC president Revanth Reddy said that the Congress is going to get a big victory in the Karnataka assembly elections. He said that these results are not limited to Karnataka, they will bring big changes in the country’s politics. He said that he had earlier said that the Congress party would get 125 seats in Karnataka. He said that people have rejected BJP’s communal politics.
Responding to a question, Revanth Reddy accused BJP of using defection as a political tactic to gain power, claiming that Bharitya Janata Party had formed the government in nine states through defection.
He criticized BJP for taking power based on defections without winning in nine states till now. Defections and splitting of parties is the habit of BJP, he said. Credit for Karnataka’s victory to Rahul Gandhi? Or Priyanka Gandhi? Instead of giving the answer of this question, he answered that it was a victory for the Congress party. He said he will respond after getting the full results.
The counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly elections started on Saturday, with the Congress party leading in 114 seats, one seat ahead of the magic figure of 113.
Voting for the Karnataka Election 2023 was held on 10th May and the counting of votes started at 8 am.
