Samantha Akkineni is currently in Goa, spending quality time in nature with her BFF Shilpa Reddy. Rangasthalam and Oh Baby fame Samantha took to social media to share photographs and videos of her cycling and kayaking. Not just fans, even Venkatesh Daggubati’s daughter Aashritha and Rana Daggubati’ wife Miheeka Bajaj couldn’t help but comment on how fun and cool. Coming on the video, which is shared by Samantha on Instagram, she is seen kayaking away early on Saturday, looking happy as she paddles.
On the work front, Samantha Akkineni wrapped up the Chennai schedule of her upcoming Tamil movie Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal before taking a break. The romantic and action drama is being directed by Vignesh Shivan and it also has Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayanthara in lead roles.
She also has the mythological drama Shaakuntalam, which is helmed by Gunasekhar. Based on the tale of King Dushyanta and Shakuntala, daughter of sage Vishwamitra and apsara Menaka. It is a big budget movie, in which Dev Mohan is playing the lead role. Allu Arjun’ daughter Allu Arha is making her debut as child actor with this film.
Recently during the media interaction, Samantha revealed that she has not signed any new projects and she is currently on a break for a few months.
