A bomb threat created a commotion at Shamshabad Airport. Immediately alerted officials carried out inspections with bomb squad teams. An unknown person posted a mail saying that there is a bomb in Shamshabad Airport.  Alerted GMR security officials informed the police. The security personnel conducted thorough checks at the airport. As no bomb was found anywhere, after the inspections, the officials found out that the threat mail received at the airport was fake.

Officials tried to trace the assailant who made the bomb threat. Police found that a deranged person had mailed the Rajiv Gandhi Airport customer call center. However, it has been learned that the parents of the youth have sent a letter asking for forgiveness from the same mail. The security personnel held their breath as the bomb threat turned out to be fake. The airport authorities have lodged a complaint with the local police about the incident. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. He said that he is looking for the person who sent the mail.

Shamshabad airport received a threatening call on Monday. A person sent a mail to the airport control room at 11.50 am on Monday. The mail said that the bomb would explode at 7 pm. The alert staff conducted a thorough inspection of the airport with bomb squad and dog squad. The last one made sure there was no bomb. This incident came to light late.
