Another tragedy occurred in the family of an Indian student who was brutally murdered in Canada. A mother who was in grief over the death of her son committed suicide. Both bodies were cremated simultaneously.
Gurvinder Nath went to Canada in 2021 with the dream of starting his own business. He joined the business school. He lost his life in the attack of thugs while in the final semester. Gurvinder Nath works as a food delivery partner in Mississauga. On July 9 at 2:10 midnight, he went to Britannia area to deliver pizza. Then some people stopped him. He demanded to give his vehicle. When Gurvinder Nath resisted, he was severely beaten. The Indian student fell to the ground with serious injuries. Immediately after that, the thugs stole his car and fled from there. Locals took Gurvinder Nath to the nearest hospital. He died on 14th of this month while undergoing treatment.
Gurvinder Nath’s family resides in Punjab. The family members were shocked to hear the news of his death. Especially his mother Narinder Devi (50) remained in shock for many days. She could not bear the loss of not having a son. Last Thursday, she committed suicide and lost her life.
