The death of a young woman in a suspicious condition in a hotel room in Madhapur has created a stir. A young woman from Puducherry and a young man from Chennai came to Oyo’s room together. The young woman who fell ill there died when she went to the hospital.
The suspicious death of a young woman from Puducherry in Oyo room under Madhapur police station has created a stir locally. Saravana Priya (25) from Puducherry is working at Hetero Pharmacy in Hyderabad.
Srihari Ramesh (25) from Chennai looks after the business of his father Ramesh. S Saravana Priya (25) of Kamrajnagar, Puducherry came to Jadchar with her family a few years ago and settled. Police said that both had completed their inter in the same college in Chennai.
Srihari came to the city two days ago. He called his friend Saravana Priya who was here. Later he booked a room at Golden Hive OYO Hotel at Madapur Ayyappa Society Road No 36. She came to the hotel where Srihari was staying on Tuesday night. Both drank alcohol in the room and fell asleep.
Srihari started vomiting in the middle of the night and went to a local hospital for treatment. After the treatment, Srihari Ramesh returned to the room around 1.30 pm on Wednesday and found that Sharvana Priya had already died. Srihari Ramesh informed the hotel staff and the police.
The hotel staff told the police that the deceased, Saravana Priya, called the hotel reception at 10.49 am on Wednesday and asked to extend her room. Then ordered food on Zomato. When the delivery boy came and rang the doorbell but did not respond, he gave the food packet at the reception and left. The police suspect that she may have died due to her illness.
