Telangana Assembly Sessions are going on after the formation of new government. The new MLAs will take oath along with the CM on Saturday.  The notification for the election of Speaker will come. It seems that the portfolios of the new ministers have been finalised. Orders will come shortly. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered oath to him at Raj Bhavan at a ceremony attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Speaker of  the previous Assembly Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

Akbaruddin Owaisi who took the oath in the name of Allah, will later administer oath to newly elected members of the House. Akbaruddin Owaisi will perform the duties of the Speaker till the  Speaker is elected under Article 178 of the Constitution of India.

Akbaruddin Owaisiwho, who won from Chandrayangutta for 6th electoral victory, will be the pro-tem Speaker until the House will elect a full time Speaker. This will be 2nd time that an AIMIM legislator will the pro-tem Speaker. In the year  2018, this responsibility was discharged by Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, then MLA from the Charminar.

The Telangana Assembly will start today at 11 am. The meetings are likely to be held for about three to four days. But the BAC will have to take a decision on this. On the first day, ministers and MLAs will take oath along with the CM. After that, the meeting is likely to be adjourned. There are chances that the meetings will start from 13th of this month.
