Patnam Mahender Reddy will join the Telangana cabinet. Expansion of the Telangana cabinet will take place on Wednesday. KCR decided to appoint Patnam Mahender Reddy to fill the vacant position in place of Etala. He will take over as minister on Wednesday.
Patnam will be sworn in as a member of the cabinet in a program held in the presence of the governor. Patnam Mahender Reddy is said to have been inducted into the cabinet for giving up the Tandoor Assembly ticket.
Patnam is taking charge as the minister when the term of the assembly is about to end in three months. It remains to be seen whether Patnam will continue as a minister if he wins a hat-trick in the Telangana assembly elections.
Pilot Rohit Reddy won as the candidate of Congress party in Rangareddy district Tandur. He got the BRS ticket in the latest list. With this, KCR announced that Patnam Mahender Reddy will be included in the cabinet. He will continue in the post of minister for another three months. In Rangareddy district, it is said that Patnam is being included in the ministerial category without causing any trouble to the party.
