Government of Telangana has been working on using advanced technology media and platforms to deliver official information and services to the people from time to time. In the same category, Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) launched ‘WhatsApp Channel’. Through this channel, the government relays the announcements from the CMO to the citizens.
For this, by using the WhatsApp channel of the Chief Minister’s Office (Telangana CMO), people will be able to know the news of CM KCR from time to time. Those who are interested can join the CMO channel in the manner indicated below.
The process is this:
1. Open the WhatsApp application.
2. On mobile select “Updates” section. On desktop click on “Channels” tab.
3.Then click on the “+” button and select “Find Channels”.
4. Type ‘Telangana CMO’ in the text box and select the channel from the list. Make sure there is a green tick mark next to the channel name.
5 Click “Follow” button and join Telangana CMO channel. See the ads sent by CMO directly on WhatsApp.
Citizens can also join the Telangana CMO WhatsApp channel by scanning the QR Code given above.
The ‘Telangana CMO WhatsApp Channel’ is managed by the Digital Media Division of the IT Department in coordination with the Office of the Chief Minister’s Public Relations Officer (CMPRO).
