In its second list, the Congress party has announced the ticket for senior leader Avula Raji Reddy from the constituency. But Gali Anil Kumar, who was already contesting for the ticket, vehemently opposed the presiding decision. He arranged meetings with his supporters in every mandal to give him ticket.
As the headship did not change its mind, Gali Anil decided to nominate himself. But to prove his strength, candidate Avula Raji Reddy, who has strategically announced his dominance, took part in a huge rally in Narsapur town an hour before filing his nomination.
By not taking much time to file the nomination papers, Raji Reddy caused the rally to be delayed. The activists who are with him are of the opinion that he must have done this to gain an upper hand over Anil Kumar and Rajireddy.
Speaking to the media after filing the nomination, Anil revealed that the Congress party will definitely give the B-form and he will contest.
Gali Anil Kumar revealed that he has been working in Narsapur constituency for four years and his efforts have been great for strengthening the party.
