TSPSC chairman resigns minutes after meeting CM but Governor decides to not accept resignation

TSPSC Chairman’s resignation has taken a crucial turn. Governor Tamilisai seems to have decided not to accept the chairman’s resignation. It seems that the Governor does not want to accept the resignation of the chairman without finding out who is responsible for the leakage of question papers related to several examinations conducted by the Public Service Commission in Telangana.

Janardhan Reddy resigned from the post of TSPSC Chairman after a meeting with the Chief Minister on Monday evening. He submitted his resignation letter to the Governor. Although there were reports that the Governor had accepted Janardhan Reddy’s resignation, on Tuesday it was announced that the Governor had not given his consent.

It is said that the governor has decided, as the cases in this matter are already at the stage of investigation, if the resignation of the chairman of the commission is accepted, the real culprits will have a chance to escape. The Governor has written a letter to the DoPT to identify those responsible for the paper leak issue and take action against them. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will hold a review on TSPSP on Tuesday.

If the chairman’s resignation is not accepted, the activities will have to continue with him. There are chances of influencing the selection of the new chairman and the release of notifications.
