A Sunday night shooting in Montgomery left one man dead whereas another one behind bars. Montgomery Police have apprehended a suspect in connection to recent fatal shooting incident. On Sunday evening, officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Eastern Boulevard where they discovered the victim, Akhil Sai Mahankali, with a life threatening gunshot wound.
They arrived to find 25 years old Akhil Sai Mahankali suffering from the gunshot wound. Akhil Sai was taken to the hospital for treatment where where he was pronounced dead later.
Investigators charged Raviteja Goli with manslaughter. Raviteja Goli was taken into custody and he is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility with bond set at $30,000.
