Venky Mama Collections: The movie lovers are showering love on the family entertainer Venky Mama, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. The much-hyped romantic, comedy and emotional drama Venky Mama was released on 13th December Worldwide in a very grand manner and is doing decent collections at the box office. The multistarrer Venky Mama also has Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput in the female leads. According to the traders report, Venky Mama has collected Rs 23.51 Cr Shares at the box office of both Telugu States – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the successful run of 8 days.

Earlier in an interview, Venkatesh has said, “Working on this project Venky Mama has given me a lot of good memories. I loved working on this multistarrer with Naga Chaitanya. It was my father Ramanaidu’s wish to work in a movie that has Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya and me but the idea could not materialize back then. Venky Mama has a lot of depth in terms of its content.” Naga Chaitanya has said, “Venky mama helped me to create the emotional layer in the film.”
Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya starrer Venky Mama is facing tough competition from Sai Dharam Tej, Raashi Khanna starrer ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sonal Chauhan, Vedhika starrer ‘Ruler’ and Karthi, Jyothika, Sathyaraj starrer ‘Donga’ besides Salman Khan starrer action drama ‘Dabangg 3’.
On the other side, Venkatesh has already started the preparations for his next film Ausran remake.
