Winter is the perfect time to have Parathas that look crispy exterior and the soft interior stuffed with Paneer, and then the whole item turns your favourite and soo yummy! as well.

Stuffed with Paneer, Ragi Paratha is a magic to your mouth that easily melts soft with just the first intake. Nutritionists suggest it can be taken as a breakfast or during lunch as it is a high protein food. Ragi is a healthy food,a whole grain and it is gluten-free. It is filled with calcium, good carbs, amino acids and Vitamin D.
Paneer, which is also called as Indian cheese, is a good source of calcium and protein and is helpful to maintain good health. While preparing the recipe, it is better to add olive pomace oil, that contains 80% of monosaturated fats, which help to manage cholesterol levels in the body. The oil consists of vitamin E and vitamin K, those promote optimum functioning of the body.
Required ingredients to prepare the recipe :
For stuffing
Grated Paneer – 30 gma
Finely chopped Green chilli – 1
Finely chopped pudina leaves
Cumin powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
For cooking
olive pomace oil – 1.5 teaspoon
calories – 202 kcal
Protein – 6.2 gms
Carbs – 24.8 gms
Fats – 8.7 gms
Method of preparation :
*Knead the dough by mixing Ragi and wheat flour. Knead Paratha dough for a couple of minutes until it gets smooth and elastic.
*Add a teaspoon of oil to coat the dough and knead a little more.
*Cover the ragi paratha dough and allow it to rest until you get the filling ready.
*The next step is to make the paneer filling. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated paneer, green chillies, mint leaves, salt, cumin powder and mix them well.
*Divide into equal portions.
*Stuff the filling into the ragi paratha dough.
*Dust the filled dough with some flour and roll it gently until you get desired thickness and proceed in a similar way with the remaining portions of paratha dough and filling.
*Spread a little oil over the paratha and keep pressing the ragi paneer stuffed parathas to cook it evently from everyside.
*Finally, serve the parathas hot in the plate readily and quickly.
