Firing in Delhi’s Saket District Court caused a commotion. An assailant opened fire on a woman in the court. A total of four rounds were fired. The woman who was injured in the shooting was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) by a police officer present there. The victim came to the court following the trial of a case related to a financial dispute. The assailant fled from the spot immediately after firing. The incident took place near the advocates block of the court premises. Everyone there was terrified by the firing. The crime team and forensic team reached the court and are examining the scene. Police are examining the CCTV footage.
The attacker was identified as a suspended lawyer who had a dispute with the lady , and he was dressed in a lawyer’s uniform at the time of the incident
The Senior police office revealed that the woman was with her advocate when a person shot her. The woman’ condition is said to be critical.
Earlier on 24 September 2022, 2 gunmen dressed as lawyers fired inside Delhi’s Rohini court. The gunmen were killed in the police firing and the two attackers, Jagdeep Jagga and Rahul Tyagi posed as lawyers to enter the courtroom and they fired multiple bullets at gangster Jitender Maan alias Gogi.
