The campaign that YSRTP president YS Sharmila is going to join the Congress is going on in a big way. There are signs that she is going to make her way to the Congress. There are chances that the Congress party will hand over the responsibilities of AP to her. In this order, she met the main leaders of the party at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. In this meeting, important issues such as merger of the party YSRTP in the Congress and future activities are being discussed. Key decisions will be taken in this meeting.
And after this meeting, there are chances of making a key announcement on the party merger in the Congress. On the other hand, Sharmila will go to Kadapa from Hyderabad in a special flight at 3 pm. She will reach Idupulapaya from Kadapa airport. Tributes will be paid at her father YSR Samadhi.
YS Sharmila is sister of Andhra Pradesh CM and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Assembly elections in AP are scheduled in the month of April-May this year along with Lok Sabha polls. YS Sharmila has been holding talks to merge YSRTP with Congress for the last few months.
