Jana Sena chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan interacted with the people and addressed a lot of topics, with his main concern being the increasing rate of farmer suicides in the state. Pawan said that Andhra Pradesh ranked third in the country, in terms of the number of farmer suicides, and said that it is high time the Andhra Pradesh government takes the necessary steps to make sure that a solution for this problem is achieve.
On the otherside, YSRCP slammed the allegations and termed Pawan Kalyan as foster son of TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu. The Ministers Ambati Rambabu and Gudivada Amarnath lashed out at Pawan Kalyan for his remarks. They said Pawan Kalyan who supported the TDP- Telugu Desam Party regime in the past has no moral right to speak on farmers, who were ignored by the previous regime.
Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu said Pawan Kalyan had forgotten Chandrababu Naidu’ deceit to the farmers, who were left neck-deep in debts.
Gudivada Amarnath said that Pawan Kalyan, who had then failed to question Chandrababu Naidu on the farmer suicides, was now questioning the YSRCP government though it was implementing several welfare schemes for the farmers and paying compensation to tenant farmers. He added that Jana Sena Party has no principles, which was the evident from the fact that it was supporting Chandrabbau Naidu who had never fulfilled his promise.
Ambati Rambabu further said, that Chandrababu Naidu wants to get the votes of Kapu community by using Pawan Kalyan.
