On Friday, Kia Motors launched the 2024 Sonet at an introductory price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV offers a choice of 19 variants with prices ranging from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh.
It will be available in several variants across all three trims. Let’s know the features of 2024 Kia Sonet.
Kia Sonet entered India for the first time in 2020. Since then it has become one of the best selling models of the company. In the sub-compact SUV segment, Kia Sonet is surging in sales after surviving fierce competition in India. The main reason for this is the trims, variants, engine options and features of the Sonnet. And with the launch of Kia Sonet in 2024, the company expects sales to increase further.
The Kia Sonet facelift will have three trims. They are Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. If you add all these together, there will be 19 variants in the sonnet!
The 2024 Kia Sonet SUV comes with 3 engine options. First is the 1.2-liter petrol engine. It generates 81 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. It has a 5-speed manual gearbox. And the second one, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. It generates 118 HP of power and 170 Nm of torque. For this, IMT (semi-automatic) or DTC gearboxes are connected. The third is a 1.5-liter CRDI diesel unit. It generates 114 HP of power and 250 Nm of torque. It has 6-speed IMT and 6-speed AT gearbox options.
