Board Of Cricket Council will soon be releasing the fresh support staff applications for the Indian cricket team. Current support staff comprising of Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and batting coach Sanjay Bangar.
It was known that the existing people of the team, including head coach Ravi Shastri, was given a grace period of 45-day extension post World Cup. However, they can re-apply once their contract period comes to an end, post next mid-month tour of the West Indies.
Ravi Shastri has a quite elegant history in BCCI. He was first appointed as the chief coach in the year 2017 following the Anil Kumble‘s tenure came to an end in weird circumstances. Apart from this, he was also the director of India’s cricket from August 2014 to 2016.
On speaking to the media here is what BCCI people said, “The job openings will put be up on our website in a day or two. Besides the support staff, fresh applications will also be invited for the post of team manager,”
