ICC World Cup 2023: India vs Pakistan match on October 15 likely to be rescheduled

As part of the upcoming ODI World Cup, the match between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be held on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. But there are reports that there may be a change in this date. According to the latest report, October 15 is the first day of Navratri, so there is a possibility of changing that day.

The report revealed that the date of this match should be changed with the intention of not having any security threat to this match due to the Navratri celebrations which are held very grandly in Gujarat. The report also said that many agencies have already requested the BCCI to reschedule the match. A BCCI official revealed that a final decision will be taken soon.

“We are discussing our options. We will take a decision soon. Security agencies should tell us that thousands of fans will come to Ahmedabad for a high-profile match like India and Pakistan, and that this match will be held during Navratri,” a BCCI official said.

If this match is rescheduled, it will be very difficult. Around one lakh fans will watch this match live. Many people have already booked hotel rooms for accommodation in Ahmedabad for October 15. That too paid ten times more than normal rates. NRIs are also among them.

Now if the match is postponed to another date, all thousands of people will have to cancel their bookings at once.
