Captain Ruthuraj Gaikwad also scored 40 runs in 26 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes and remained unbeaten. Both of them lashed out at the Bengal bowlers for sixes. The duo did not give another chance even after opener Yashaswi Jaiswal’s out. In the final to be held on Saturday (October 7), India will face the winner of the semi-final between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
India will face the winner of the second semifinals, which will be played between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Saturday.
A medal was secured with a win in the semis. But whether it is a gold or a silver will be known on Saturday. The Bangladesh team will face the defeated team in the second semi-final for the bronze medal.
