India lost to West Indies by 8 wickets in the 5th T20I at Lauderhill in America. Batting first, Team India scored 165 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (61 off 45 balls; 4 fours, 3 sixes) scored a half-century. Telugu player Tilak Verma (27 runs off 18 balls) excelled. However, the rest of the batsmen failed. Among the West Indies bowlers, Romario Shepherd took four wickets, Akeel Hossain and Holder took two wickets each. Brenden King (85 off 55 balls) played a brilliant innings as West Indies chased down the target in 18 overs. They scored 171 runs losing only 2 wickets. Nicholas Pooran (47 off 35 balls) also excelled. Among the Indian bowlers, Arshadeep Singh and Tilak Verma got a wicket each.
