Currently, Pakistan is holding the fifth place at the point table with an overall point score of 11 with New Zealand. On the other side, Kiwis are qualified as the fourth team for the semifinals for the better point score and run rate.

On speaking to the media meet Sarafaz says,

There is no need to say sorry, the team has given its best and returned with 2-4 points but still, Pak stands at 11. Ahmed further added saying, they do accept that, they didn’t perform well at the first five matches however, their performance was not too bad enough as people are making out to be.

On replying to the question of a journalist that does India deliberately lost to England to lower the chances of Pak, Ahmed said, No, England has performed well and this is why India lost to it and he doesn’t think that it was a deliberate deed.
