The dream of crores of Indians has come true! The centuries-long wait is over. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ayodhya Ram temple on Monday afternoon amid slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram’. Later he participated Ram Lalla Prana Pratishtha program. Millions of Indians were thrilled to watch those scenes through live telecast on TV along with Ramjanma Bhoomi premises.
The rush started in Ayodhya almost 10-15 days before Monday to fulfill the dream of centuries .
And from Monday morning, the rush, interest and excitement in Ayodhya reached star level. Airports and roads are crowded with the arrival of celebrities. From movie stars to former and present cricketers, everyone reached Ram Janmabhoomi premises early in the morning.
Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega Power Star Ram Charan went to Ayodhya around 10 am on Monday. The local officials welcomed them. And Bollywood celebrities Amitabh Bachchan – Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif – Vicky Kausal, Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit and others were also present at the opening ceremony of Ram Mandir. In the temple premises, the famous singer Sonu Nigam sang the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’.
Prime Minister Modi went inside the temple around 12 noon on Monday. Prana Pratishtha ritual was performed amidst Vedic mantras. Modi presented silk clothes to Ram. Along with Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also participated in the puja.
