As the situation of Jammu and Kashmir still remains to be on dead silence, the restrictions are still in place over there. Latest reports suggest that opposition leaders will be visiting Srinagar today. The trip was planned to assess the people on their feelings and their opinion over the revocation of special status Article 370 and 35 (A) in Jammu and Kashmir.
From the close sources, it came to know as some of the parties will be part of the opposition all-party delegation are Congress, CPI-M, CPI, RJD, NCP, TMC, and DMK. The list of Congress who will be visiting Srinagar are as follows, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma. Rahul Gandhi is likely to accompany them.
CPI-M’s Sitaram Yechury, CPI’s D Raja, DMK’s Tiruchi Siva, RJD’s Manoj Jha and Dinesh Trivedi from TMC will also be part of the troop. Here is what TMC tweeted on their visit, “Senior Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi @DinTri to visit Srinagar on Saturday along with other Opposition leaders.
They will see the situation in the valley after the abrogation of Article 370,” the TMC tweeted. If allowed to enter, the leaders will also be visiting some other parts of Jammu and Kashmir state.
