The first photo of Ram Lalla idol inside Ayodhya temple sanctum sanctorum revealed

The first photo of the Ram Lalla idol, which is covered with a veil, was revealed during the placement ceremony in the sanctum Sanctorum on Thursday.

The arrangements for the opening ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir to be held on January 22, have reached the final stage. It is known that the idol of Ram Lalla was moved to the sanctum sanctorum late on Wednesday night. And on Thursday, a photo of Ram Lalla statue was revealed. In a program organized in the sanctum sanctorum, the first photo of the veiled idol was unveiled. These photos were shared by Vishwa Hindu Parishad media in-charge Sharad Sharma.

A 51-inch statue of Ram Lalla, carved by a Mysore native who hails from a family of five generations of famous sculptors, was brought to the temple on Wednesday. Vedic Brahmins and Acharyas are conducting puja programs in the holy premises of the temple. Members of the Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra also participated in the prayers, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad said.

On Thursday afternoon, Ram Lalla’s idol was placed in the sanctum sanctorum, Arun Dixit, the priest responsible for the installation, told the media.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Prana Pratishtha program in Ayodhya on January 22. A team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit will conduct the main puja. Many celebrities were also invited for this ceremony. The temple will be opened for public visit on January 23.
