Uric Acid: If these symptoms appear then it can be a problem of uric acid

Many people suffer from leg pain. Pains in the feet, toes and joints are seen. All these can be symptoms of uric acid build up in our body.

Uric acid is one of the waste products that our body naturally excretes. Uric acid is formed when purines in the food we eat are broken down. It is excreted through urine from time to time. But when excretion is not done properly, uric acid stays in the blood. Gradually it crystallizes and accumulates in the joints and surrounding tissues. This causes joint pains and gout diseases.

Eating more foods rich in purines can make this problem worse. Also, high blood sugar levels, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, excessive alcohol consumption, poor intestinal health, sedentary lifestyle, eating and sleeping late, not drinking enough water, etc. can increase this uric acid in the blood. If these symptoms appear in us, we should identify it as uric acid and take appropriate precautions.

Symptoms of Uric Acid:

Fingers and toes are more painful. Sometimes these pains are unbearable. Swelling appears near the joints of the fingers.

Some people may experience redness around the feet, toes, and joints. We have to understand that there are swellings in those places inside the body.

Painful joints include swelling and blisters.

Feeling very tired and impatient for anything can indicate this.

Infection occurs due to excess uric acid deposits in the body. It can also cause fever. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should consult a doctor and undergo appropriate treatment.

To reduce uric acid:

To reduce uric acid, some dietary habits must be changed. Drink more fluids. Avoid alcohol. Exercise regularly.

Do not eat heavy food during dinners and entertainments. Avoid foods and drinks that are high in sugar.

Purines present in foods cause this problem in us, so we should avoid foods that are high in purines.
