The Indian team of Sarabjot Singh, Shiv Narwal, Arjun Singh and Cheema bagged the gold medal in the men’s 10m air pistol shooting team event. In qualifying, Sarabjot, Shiv Narwal, Arjun Singh and Cheema scored 1734 points and stood at the top position. This added another gold medal to India’s account.
With the latest gold medal for India, the total number of gold medals has been six. It is remarkable that four medals came in shooting. In the Asian Games 2023, India is still fifth overall with 24 medals. With four medals on Wednesday, India, which remained in the sixth position, has now moved to the fifth position.
