India has opened an account of gold medals in Asian Games 2023. India won its first gold medal in the 10m air rifle team event. Rudranksh Patil, Aishwari Tomar and Divansh Panwar won gold in this event. Moreover, it is a privilege to win this gold medal with a world record. Together these three broke the world record in the qualification round with 1893.7 points.
They broke the record set by China in the Baku World Championship earlier this year. This is India’s first gold medal in Asian Games 2023 . Indian shooters started slowly in the final. In the first series, Rudranksh and Divyansh each scored 104.8 points and Aishwari scored 104.1 points. But later recovered from the series.
By the time of the sixth series, Indian shooters broke the world record. Scored a total of 1893.7 points. This gold medal is like a boost for India, who entered the ring with the aim of breaking the record of 100 medals in the Asian Games.
