Khalistani supporters are once again outraged! Some vandalized the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA. The US government strongly condemned this incident
The incident took place on Saturday local time. In the latest incident, the Indian Consulate office caught fire. Firefighters who responded at the right time brought the fire under control. Local, state and federal officials have confirmed that the office was not seriously damaged.
On the other hand, authorities found the words ‘violence begets violence’ written on the walls of the office that was attacked in San Francisco. At the same time, a newspaper containing the news of the death of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar of the pro-Khalistan group Khalistan Tiger Force was found at the scene. This Hardeep Singh was shot dead in Canada last month. He also runs the Canadian Arm of Six for Justice.
46-year-old Nijjar’s hometown is Jalandhar. Meanwhile, there are allegations that he used to provide financial support to the terrorist group Babar Khalsa International, which has been operating in Canada for many years. It seems that the Khalistani supporters attacked the Indian Consulate after the death of Nijjar.
US Department of Home Affairs spokesperson Matthew Miller tweeted, “The United States strongly condemns the attack on the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. US will not tolerate attacks on embassies and foreign embassies. This is a criminal offense”.
