The Indian team, which entered the ring with a target of 79 runs, chased that target easily in 12 overs. Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten with 17 runs and Shreyas 4 runs. Team India’s victory was easy as the openers Yashasvi and Rohit played hard on the pitch which was adapted to the pace and increased the pressure on the Safari bowlers in the beginning. South Africa collapsed for 55 runs in the first innings of this match. In the second innings they managed to score only 176 runs.

On behalf of the Indian team, Mohammad Siraj took six wickets in the first innings and Bumrah took six wickets in the second innings. South African opener Aden Markram (106) scored a heroic century in the second innings, but it went in vain. Team India ended the tour of South Africa on a grand note.
