After defeating England acutely in the T20I series held in the Caribbean, the West Indies team has arrived in Ahmedabad today in the morning in the aim to accomplish the limited over series against India, which has yet to take place.
They are going to perform three One Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Hyderabad. Soon after this, three T20 Internationals will be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from February 6. However, West Indies have arrived in India after a long couple days of travel from Barbados.
The West Indies team tweeted, “WI arrive safely in Ahmedabad! The Men In Maroon have a quick turnaround, as WI get ready to play @BCCI in three ODIs here, starting on February 6.” Further, the team also posted a video of the players arriving at the Ahmedabad airport.
The 3 ODIs will be organized by the Gujarat Cricket Association. The Association conveyed that the matches will be played behind closed doors ascribing to the pandemic. The 3 T20Is will be held in Kolkata on February 16,18 and 20, following the three-match ODI series which will be held on February 6,9 and 11 in Ahmedabad.
