There are still 100 days left for the World Cup. ICC announces schedule for 2023 men’s ODI cricket world cup, starting on 5th October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with England vs New Zealand match. India to host Pakistan after 7 years, with India vs Pakistan match on 15 October in Ahmedabad.
As part of the league stage, the Indian team will play a total of 9 matches. While the seven teams have already been finalized, the Indian team has to play with two more qualifiers. The first match will be played on October 8 and the last match will be played on November 11.
India will play its 1st match against Australia on October 8 at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. All the matches played by India are night matches. These will start at 2 pm.
India will play the second match against Afghanistan on October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
India will face Pakistan on 15th October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and all eyes are on this match.
The match between India and Bangladesh will be held at the MCA Stadium in Pune on October 19.
The match between India and New Zealand will be held on October 22 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.
India’s match against defending champions England will be held on October 29 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
India will face Qualifier 2 on November 2 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Another crucial match between India and South Africa will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Final league match with Qualifier 1 to be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on November 11.
