 After many hesitations, the government of Pakistan has finally given permission to the Pakistan team to play the World Cup. The team has been given the green signal to participate in the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The Indian team has refused to participate in the ongoing Asia Cup in Pakistan. The PCB has warned several times that the Babar Azhan-led Pakistan team will not be sent to India for the ODI World Cup if the BCCI does not change its stance. After this there was a lot of talk about the 2023 Asia Cup.

PCB has expressed doubts over Pakistan’s participation in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. But it took some time to finalize. Zaka Ashraf-led PCB has sent a security team to India to inspect the World Cup grounds. Based on the report, the Pakistan government allowed their team to participate in the ICC tournament.

Pakistan says sports should not be mixed with politics. Hence, they have decided to send the Pakistan team to India to participate in the upcoming 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. Pakistan’s decision shows a constructive and responsible approach. India has refused to send its cricket team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup. Pakistan’s Foreign Office said in a statement.
